Joe Stevenson vs Spencer Fisher

Round 1
They come out with Fisher taking the center of the octagon. Stevenson throws a kick and they continue to stand with each other. Both appear to be sizing up the distance between them. They clash in the middle, with Fisher seeming to get the slight advantage. Stevenson lands a huge left, but Spencer lands as well. They continue to stand with each other, Fisher has began bleeding from the scar tissue over his eyes. They clinch with Stevenson going for the takedown, but Fisher is defending. Stevenson is pushing Fisher against the cage and is trying to pull him down but to no avail. Fisher is bleeding noticeably. Stevenson looked to pick Fisher up but Fisher was able to maintain his base. Fisher appears to be wincing from the blood in his eyes. Stevenson is still clinching but is no longer really going for the takedown, referee Herb Dean separates them. Fisher lands a kick. Stevenson lands an elbow after separating from a brief clinch. Fisher begins throwing some big shots; Stevenson goes for a takedown which Fisher blocks, but Stevenson is able to scramble and take Fisher's back and take him to the ground. Fisher has turtled up and is blocking the hooks, but Stevenson is landing huge shots from the back. The round closes.

Round 2
The two touch gloves to start the round. Fisher attempts some high kicks but they are mostly blocked. They are striking fairly evenly through the first minute of the round, and Fisher's eye is not yet bleeding again. Stevenson grabs a leg and is able to get Fisher down, where he falls into full guard. Stevenson raises up and is pushing Fisher towards the fence. Fisher is twisting for an arm submission but cannot move Stevenson. Stevenson grabs an ankle for a leg lock, but lets it go to get into half guard. Stevenson pulls his leg out to get to mount, and Fisher regains half guard but Stevenson is landing elbows from the top. Stevenson is landing elbow after elbow, and Fisher is bleeding again. Stevenson looks savage with the short elbows, hitting the same spot every time. They remain pressed up against the cage with Stevenson in Fisher's half guard. Stevenson passes into side control. Stevenson steps over the arm into cruicifix position and begins raining down repeated brutal elbows, forcing Dean to stop the fight.
